Cricket Australia has banned Steve Smith and David Warner for 1 year. Cameroon Bancroft on the other hand has been handed a ban for 9 months. All the three cricketers were found guilty of ball tampering. They're currently in Australia after they were called back immediately from the ongoing South Africa series. All the three cricketers have 7 days to appeal against the ban. This makes it almost certain that both Steve Smith and David Warner won't be a part of IPL 2018.
